2009 almost Done

Hard to believe that 2009 is almost over. I'm glad it is and have no hopes for next year. Maybe if I just take 2010 for what it is then it will go better than 2008 and 2009. At least that is my secret hope. Well I guess it's not so secret now. :)

Christmas in Virginia!

Merry belated Christmas to all! Yesterday at work was hectic. We had to play the game of catch up all day long! We landed in Dulles and I was happy as could be not only cause we were done for the day but cause I was home again. Virginia more now since I left feels like home and to a degree always has. I miss it tons! My friend Lee and his girfriend picked me up from the airport and we went around dropping off gift bags I brought with me at people's homes like I did when I lived there. Then this morning I met up with some people at IHOP for breakfast before I headed back off to work. I was so sad to leave and it broke my heart. But over all I had a good holiday. I opened most of gifts Wednesday when I had the day off. I brought my stocking with me and opened it at the hotel yesterday morning. All in all I can't complain. Hope Christmas was enjoyable for all!

So Excited

Yesterday my friend Lee texted me saying that all but one of our friends that I've asked him to contact for me are in for breakfast the day after Christmas! We're waiting to hear from the one person. But nonetheless I'm excited to see all my Virginia friends!

East and South

This week at work I get to go several places I haven't been since I left Dulles! Like right now I'm in Charleston South Carolina! Though I hate the hotel bed. It's the same hotel I was in when I came here from Dulles. Sleep Number beds stink. I very much don't like them. Tomorrow I go to Nashville TN and Greensboro NC. I haven't been to either of them since I left Dulles either! I'm so excited. Granted I'm not in any of the places very long, but still I sort of feel like I'm out of Dulles again and it's exciting.

Four Years

Well it was four years ago today that I was hired as a flight attendant. Man these four years have gone by so fast. Though there may be somethings I wish were different in my life (like being married. :) ) I wouldn't change the last four years for anything.
I love being a flight attendant and hope to do it for a while longer yet. I'm not readying to give up flying. I love what I do.
In the last four years I've grown alot and become more of my own person and learned to leave my shell a bit. It's funny to think that when I first started alot of people I know jaws hit the floor when they found out that I was a flight attendant. Yet if you ask some of my coworkers and passengers they'll tell you their jaws hit the floor to find out how shy I was growing up.
Then again I'm more outgoing at work then when I'm not. But I guess there are some things that don't totally change. But then again I'm more outgoing out of work than I used to be.
I've learned more about life and myself in the last four years and met incredible people that have impacted my life for the better good forever. I've been able to see and go places I'd never been able to if I was doing what I am now. And because of the experinces I've been able to have I've learned to be happier, healthier, and better all around.
So here is to four years and how many more to come!

Seeing Stars

Last night during a over night in Orange County I rented a car and the flight attendant I was working with and I went down to Hollywood Blvd and walked along the Walk of Fame. It was fun and I enjoyed it.















The first picture is just having fun. But I saw many more stars than these ones.

Merry Christmas Early

I found out that I have an over night in Dulles Christmas Day! Bummer I have to work Christmas but at least I'm going to be in a totally kick butt place and I'm so excited!

Service Carts

Last night at work these were our two service carts. The gray one (the bottom one) is US Airways cart that we use in Phoenix and Charlotte. The blue one (the top one) is the United cart that we use in Dulles and Chicago. So when I saw the blue on the US Airway plane I very voically stated my claim to use it. It made me homesick for Dulles.
Don't get me wrong I like and enjoy Phoenix I just loved Dulles so much and still do I miss it like crazy.

Weekend in Oregon

I hadn't been home in six months and I had a three day weekend so I figured it was about time I went up to Oregon to visit the fam. I did and I enjoyed. Though I love living on my own and having my freedoom it's nice to go home every now and then.
