Lighthouse on the Jetty

Just you and I walking along beach with sand between our toes.
Holding hands following wherever the path goes.
A distant light still shines bright.
Guiding boats to safety in the darken night.
In a second we could become like the boats lost at sea.
But the lighthouse on the jetty could also be a guide for you and me.
Just you and I stumbling around to find our way in the dark.
The only thing we see is the light’s distant mark.
The lighthouse on the jetty may seem like it’s far.
But it’s light proves it’s close to where you are.
Just you and I trying to see the light.
And if you have faith and believe the lighthouse on the jetty is shinning bright.
