Viva Las Vegas!
On Thursday I flew up to Las Vegas to visit my friend Rachel Smith. I hadn't seen her in about a year and a half. In that time she got married and had a baby. I forgot my camera at home so I bought a couple disposible cameras when I get the pictures back I'll post them. I just got back from her house. It was a blast and loved the visit and hope I can go back sometime in the future. So thanks Rachel, Brandon and Paisley!

Weird but in a good way
I've been a flight attendant now for three and a half years. So at work today just before my last flight my supervisor calls me. I had an innocendent (won't get into that right now) last week that I for sure thought she was calling me about. But I was wrong. She was calling to tell me how good of a job I do and that no one complains about me and everyone likes me and how I get under the radar (which is good). In the three and a half years I've been working this is the first time one of my bosses has told me that they appericate the good work I do. It was a weird call but weird in a good way. Plus it was really neat to hear. It made me feel good and enjoy my job that much more.

These Tears
These tears are for one who never sees the sun.
Who sits alone in emptiness whose battle’s yet to be won.
And whose heart is as big as the open sky.
Though alone he may sit, he never asks why.
These tears ate for one who can’t hear the laughter of her child.
Who watches and stares but is so meek and mild.
She can’t hear how the day was at school.
As the child tells how he was made a fool.
But she gives a warm embrace to let him know it’s all okay.
And gives him love he knows will never go away.
These tears are for one that can not feel the touch of a hand.
Who will never get to grow up and none can understand.
Whose life ended before it could start.
But he’s always in our heart.
These tears are for one who has gone far away.
Who off to war he’s gone to fight for the right come what may.
His spirit is strong and fights hard and long.
But believes he’s fighting to help correct the wrong.
These tears are for one who left too soon.
Who will never know the feeling of jumping over the moon.
Whose smile was always big and bright.
But how she was taken by a sleepy driver that night.
These tears are not always for sorrow.
All these tears are for a better tomorrow.
Who sits alone in emptiness whose battle’s yet to be won.
And whose heart is as big as the open sky.
Though alone he may sit, he never asks why.
These tears ate for one who can’t hear the laughter of her child.
